Sharing and permissions

Give people in your workspace access to a document.

A new document is private to you. Choose Share to add people from your workspace and pick what each can do: view, comment or edit.

Someone’s workspace role still applies: a viewer can never edit, whatever the document says.

Everyone editing a document sees the others’ cursors and changes as they happen.
